I think my mental are unstable since i've been here because it's hard to adapt to this new lifestyle and find it hard to make friends who dont use me for their own benefit. I have think a lot about quitting, what do you think? Should i continue or not? I'm unable to do a group's assignment because of this so of course, sooner or later, it will affected my marks.

I have been in the same shoes just a few months. Being an introvert and because of adjustment problems, I actually did quit college which I regretted like anything. So, I joined another college and now I'm trying to give my best though I still face a lot of issues. Having done what you're planning to do at the moment, I would advice you against it. It might affect the grades in the dirst semester, but eventually things will begin to fall into place.

To think about it, i'm an introvert either and usually, because of this, i tend to get bullied a lot in the past but i still cant be able to become an outgoing person like the others. With all this bullying i've gone through, i've grown up to be a revengeful person and tend to get fed up or easily mad up which cause me to get stress out real easily.

@wafa1234 it's only a month since i've
started my first semester so it's still a long journey to find the exit.

Indeed it is, but it's hard to change up this sour face i tend to do whenever i am in a place full of people so i dont think that i can do such social activities though.

I'm not sure. I'm still in the 1st semester so i dont think that it's too late to mess it up and return. I guess that it depends on the gender we're trying to befriend with. I noticed that it's hard to make friends with someone knowns as ladies as i cant be or act the same like them, being outgoing and ladylike even though i am a female. As for man, ok, i actually am afraid to speak with them, not sure why...

@Ladyzombie The beginning is usually difficult. But you still need to be confident to yourself and get over the problems. One day you will realize all your efforts will not be in vain. Good luck!

Maybe you should seek advice from student counselling services? Student life can be challenging but I'm sure there are other options before you make a final decision to quit.

Cahaya, are you from SEA regions? Anyway, i've been trying to make my spirit high up so that i can make myself happier again, at least, it can boost up my mood. That's the only way i can think of for now, aside of quitting.

My backup plan is only to continue my life by getting a job to support my life. I dont think that a studied life are suitable for me because i tend to get mad easily and give up.

I agree with @CoralLevang. You should explore finding a counselor who can help you learn how to cope with and overcome the difficulties you face.

You should continue. See this is a phase of life when we have to shift to a completely new environment. Many things are what we never want them to be yet with time and adjustment we are able to adapt and enjoy where we enter. Engage yourself in your passions a little more, try to make friends and go with the flow. Enjoy the new beginning of your life and gradually you will notice the change.

Keep yourself strong. Your studies are important not the lifestyle.

I've been trying to but having to live a lonely life, it's hard to find up what's going on in the college, either knowing about assignment or a homework without someone to tell me about it.

please never quit! I also have faced this kind of situation. Its difficult to adapt to the new lifestyle but see it from a different perspective that you will be able to learn something new everyday.
