You Are All Being Downright Mean

In a good way. I've been reading your posts about your holiday goodies and what you are baking and my mouth is watering and my stomach is growling. I need to remind myself that I just got back from the pool and I don't need to eat any of those goodies. Then of course there are my own goodies I will be baking starting today or tomorrow.
I have the fixings for the easy fudge - recipe on the back of marshmallow fluff. And I finally got the recipe for my mother's applesauce raisin loaf she made every Christmas without fail until she went into assisted living. So a trip to the store for those ingredients is a must so I can have it on my holiday dinner table on Christmas.
I just finished my breakfast - a mean bowl of cereal, but with all the goodies I'm reading, my flesh is demanding more. I just might be giving in as I read more of your delicious posts.
Keep baking and posting your goodies. I don't want to miss a single delicious treat this Christmas. Yes, I'm a glutton for punishment.
Thanks for reading.

Just a couple? After what I bought today and will make tomorrow, I will be spending a lot of time in the pool taking those added pounds off. I hope my boys and the kids enjoy those treats and goodies as well so I'm not eating all of them.

You can't gain any calories just by looking!

No you can't. But my feet tend to do the walking while my eyes are doing the looking.

I forgot to soak dates overnight and that means rescheduling my day's work which is not easy. And so you will have to patiently wait till I finish baking my date and walnut cake.

Yes it is rather torturous to read about all the wonderful baking going on, I haven't done any so far and it looks like it will stay that way lol

@just4him No not buying, I will have pies on Christmas Day and bread pudding for Christmas eve. But no Christmas cooking this year, did too much exercise to blow it all now. I do want to experiment with some recipes when I get to Florida, we will see.

@BelleStarr The good news for me is that I haven't gained anything since returning to the pool. I haven't lost either. I'm hoping after the holidays that I can get back to losing.

Tempt away. I'm baking tomorrow. I wanted to today, but it decided to snow and the traffic got horrible, so decided not to brave the traffic. I don't mind the snow. I'll get my missing ingredients tomorrow and bake during the game.

@fishtiger58 And did they lose? A couple updates during the Packers game showed they were down 14-0. Were the Bears able to get any points in today's game? We won our game and expect to next week as well when we play the Lions.

@just4him I have to make a cheese cake, brownies, and homemade French Salad Dressing this morning before my family arrives at 4 pm today. So at least I can watch the Bears lose today in peace before they arrive. lol.

I can relate , because @averygirl72 , posted the other day about her aunt's fried chicken and has a picture of fried chicken . Gosh , seeing the picture made me crave for my favorite chickenjoy , so much so that right after dismissal i went to the mall and eat the 2 piece chicken value meal.
But when i arrived home , i didn't eat anything anymore except drink lots of water . Good thing , hubby isn't home yet from his office .

@just4him I meant that if you eat out over the holidays you might find everything too appealing to make a choice. Actually that's me!

Sounds like you are having fun. It's good now and then to treat yourself. However if you are very conscious you can sneak in a fruit or two in between snacks.Just to fill you up.

I was hunting for it and couldn't find it. I might need to go online and find one that sounds like hers.

As long as I don't eat those yummy treats they aren't a problem. I can live vicariously through everyone's Christmas treat posts.
