Lots of people are dreaming of a white Christmas right now. Not me. Instead I am dreaming of January 2nd, 2017.
I love that day as all this holiday craziness is behind us.
On January 2nd, I feel liberated.
I feel like a new person, and totally enjoy that day!
Are your dreams similar to mine?

It's back to normal after January 2. Back to regular activities. Yes I'm excited when all the craziness of the holiday is over and is back to normal regular days

@marlina You don't like the stress of Christmas? You want simple days?

I have no problem with time of year, I simply stocked up on what I needed food wise at the beginning of this month so that I could relax the holidays away while mylotting, playing games for points or watching Hulu ~ Amazon ~ Netflix while sipping a hot toddy or something.

I don't mind snow as long as I can see it from my window and not have to go out in it. Since I am on holiday from work and spending time with my family I would like the holiday season to go on forever.

I don't feel like I'm being held hostage and I don't feel any craziness. I like the new year since that's when I clean out the files and start fresh.

Absolutely! I don't like all the commercialism of ANY holiday. I don't participate in any of it either.

I do look forward to 2017 as I do the start of every new year. I always hope the year will be the best ever, and for me 2016 was just that. So I hope 2017 will be as good or better.
