It's Christmas Eve! Why am I Online? Don't I Have a Life?

Wasn't going to work on Christmas Eve! Nope! Went to bed last night and said to myself: You will NOT be online tomorrow!
I was resolved. Firmly resolved!
Wasn't going to turn on my computer TODAY! After all, it's Christmas Eve!
Was going to busy myself all day with “other things to do”.
Then my husband started playing holiday music, which drifted to romantic music, which changed into whatever he felt like listening to! (Yep. He grabbed his guitar and right now we're listening to Carlos Santana.)
I got settled down, started listening and … next thing I knew … my resolve evaporated!
Well! I didn't or couldn't just sit on my butt and listen to the music. So here I am on my laptop, chilling out with my hubby and multitasking … enjoying music and doing some online work.

@silvermist - "Madrasapattinam". My husband had like a particular music video but we had never seen the movie. We finally found the movie. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

I just watched a really good Indian movie (with English subtitles, of course) while flipping in between tabs. Been online for almost the entire day. I think I'm actually working but it feels like I'm goofing off!

My family members are not allowed to come to our house on Christmas Eve. If they do they won't get any food. Cause I don't cook!

At least you gave it a good try. We are celebrating Christmas Eve here by watching "Scrooge" with Albert Finney. It is something of a family tradition. I am online because I've seen these movies a couple dozen times or more and know most of them by heart.

You're right! Some people think if you're online during the holidays that you're neglecting your family and friends. But these days, some people can only communicate with family and friends online. To me, myLot is a cool online community and a fun place to be, if you're going to be online ... holidays or not!
