Typhoon Nina; a category 4 storm hit the Philippines on Christmas Day stranding thousands of people. I sincerely hope all our Mylotter friends that live there are okay.
Super typhoon Nock-ten leaves more than 11,000 passengers stranded after roaring into the Philippines and forcing the evacuation of hundreds of thousands.

That's good to know @DianneN . I can't even imagine a Typhoon; tornadoes are bad enough.

Sad and shocking news. Thousands are in distress. It is a hard thing to have to go through. In Trinidad we are blessed never to be visited by any storms, hurricanes, or typhoons. We have had a recent 6.5 earthquake but luckily only minor damages. But this land is a blessed and holy land with a lot of the inhabitants praying everyday. I will send my prayers and love and good will to all those who are hurting. Such terrible disaster! May they recover their lives quickly.
