Bubblews was a laid back site

I truly miss Bubblews. It was cakewalk there to earn - write a mere 400 characters per post. It was easy to post 10 a day and earn almost 50 dollars per week. Atleast I earned that much The image shows my earning history. Sad that they messed it all up. Do you miss Bubblews?

@Bluedoll Being rude here is a violation and surely myLot will not encourage rudeness here. Right? For me it means being playful or 'I caught you' kind of interpretation. For more on this may be you could check with admin.

While I earned something there, I prefer myLot. I get friends here, who are lifetime friends. There I did have friends. But everybody seemed so focused on earnings that fun interactions were missing.

Earning money is not a bad thing as long as it is earned honestly.

Wow. That looks awesome. Did it stop paying because it went bankrupt or what exactly happened?

Basically the payment5 system was set5 far too high, which the site could not maintain.

There was a lot of fraud. Views were bought and more views meant more money and such

@Asylum That indeed was one factor but if the views were based on a legal approach the site would not have collapsed this way. They could have reduced rates in a phased manner

I miss it and wish those men would have had business sense to know about business expense. That is what put them under.

Precisely, they should have paid a little less, which may have allowed the site to be sustainable.

@Asylum More than the payment issue they did not pay attention to the gaming that was going on there. Thousands of views were being registered through foul means. This was brought to their notice but they ignored those reports.

I miss Bubblews because it was where I cut my 'writing teeth'. It was the first site I ever tried, but the money was never my motivation - I never earned like you anyway. I loved it there, and made some wonderful friends, most of whom have thankfully found their way to this site.

Money is an indication of how posts get noticed and I thought you were always noticed You are a good example to show how Bubblews was also a place to make friends.

Ah, you had it so good. I got there as they raised the pay out threshold, so never got a cent, despite a balance of some 37bucks when they went off the air. Do I miss the site? Not really. Collage of screenshots from June 2015 or thereabouts.

I was there after they had raised the threshold but could earn quite a bit. I too lost the last two instalments.

I have never been really interested by Bubblews, it was lacking of the interactions we have here. I cashed out twice and I abandoned the site at the end of 2014. I have saved a few Arvin posts with the comments of his courtesans : it was the best part of the site in early 2015.

@allknowing There were a few good memories with some myLot members that I followed there, but it was very difficult to have good interactions in an unique thread for comments. And at the end, they removed a lot of old comments which were making the interest of several posts, and the "new" Bubblews was worst than the previous one, instead of being better. I have noticed that Arvin was now using more Instagram than his own Sweeble app. The life of this guy is a failure.

No, I don't because I didn't earn like that at all... I had 10 redemptions the whole 30 months I was on there and half of them were not even paid... Why was one cancelled on yours?

I loved Bubblews, not only because of the money but because I enjoy writing posts and interacting with other writers. When they started to make all the changes to the payments, I knew it wouldn't be too long before they shut down.

Bubblews made a serious mistake from the very start by paying too high. It was perfectly obvious that the rates were not viable, but I can only assume that the plan was to attract lots of members then reduce the rates. Of course they continued paying an unsupportable amount for too long, which certainly could not continue. Many members expected the site to collapse much earlier than it did.

I miss it to a point . . . but I'm glad myLot showed up again at the most perfect time. I am so glad that many of the folks from Bubblews are now a part of the myLot family . . . but I miss the folks that did not make it here. I was one of the unlucky ones who did not get paid a lot of times - that was very frustrating - that stress I do not miss!
