I don't like to share drinks with friends

...however with family it is completely fine. Back in school, I always carried a bottle of water & sometimes I would buy water, juice or soda from the vending machine. I personally lip my drinks and then there's always that someone who asks if they can have a sip. Me: Only if you 'water fall' and if it's soda and I can't finish the drink - I'll let the person finish have it. Although when we go out and use silverware we are technically sharing germs with everyone/strangers, but most of the time - I carry sealed plastic utensils in my purse How about you? Do you like to share your drinks? Side note - We bought these rustic like shelves from IKEA for us to store our drinks, snacks, rice, misc items and as you can see - my boyfriend sure loves his coconut water. The shelves are pretty sturdy for being $9.99 each, originally $14.99!

I share my food and drinks with just about anyone, I don't discriminate! Whenever I stop by my swimming pools to check on my lifeguards, whoever is in the lifeguard office on their break, I always ask if I can have a bite of their food or a sip of their drink. Not one of them has ever turned me down! I know sharing food or drinks is a good way to spread germs, but I must have a very healthy immune system, because I hardly ever get sick! Maybe it's because I expose myself to so many germs and my body builds up a tolerance!

I will share but I will eat everything I want first and leave you the left overs I think it is because I am a picky eater and usually refuse everything. And, I would not want a tummy ache for foods I am not familiar with eating too.

@infatuatedbby My dad nicknamed me "garbage gut" when I was a kid, because I would literally eat anything and everything. He said no matter what I shoved down my throat, I never seemed to get sick. I guess I have what you would call an iron stomach!

@infatuatedbby Your computer did that too? Wow, that's weird, because my laptop just restarted as well a few moments ago. I wonder what caused it? If you review the Chinese zodiac, you will see all the years that are COCKS, and then you can decide for yourself which year is mine!

No, i only share my glass of drink to my immediate family . For others , they must have their own glass . Is that the juice of a young coconut ? Young coconut juice is indeed delicious and healthy . Good thing here , ambulant vendors goes around in residences to offer them to buy fresh young coconut . They would put a hole in it and put it in your pitcher then open the coconut for you to scrape the young coconut neat which is so delicious.

I am not too sure of which coconut but the organic is from the Philippines The other brand is from Thailand I believe, I am not sure. My boyfriend loves the coconut drink and he's the only one who drinks it. I share with only immediate family as well, and my boyfriend.

@DesirousDreamer I was more of a neat freak back in the day. But I'd be okay with clean finger using chapstick then apply straight to the lips.

Oh yes - I don't ask to share drinks with my friends. If I'm thirsty, I will go buy my own if I don't have water. With family - I don't either, but sometimes at parties which is rare, they would ask me to just try to see if you like it before they pour my own (but only with my sister/mom/dad, I would). My boyfriend and I share drinks and thats fine though!

At work place, I do not mind sharing my bottle of water with colleagues, if they really want to have a sip. I share theirs also, when required.

Hey, I see you have changed your name. Has it worked? Like you, I don't share drinks. It's the easiest way to pass on germs, so I would say no.

@infatuatedbby Yeah, it was me that suggested changing your name, to avoid unwanted attention. I have changed mine a couple of times now. This one is a play on words.

You never know what other have. My friend in college picked things up from that. I actually shared a bathroom/ tub with family members and ended up getting reoccurring yeast infections couldn't figure out why.

No one ever asked me before to share my drink. But that would be a big no with a strange look on my face. I was meaning to get one of those shelves for my garage. I saw plastic ones that, as the label says, can hold heavy stuff. They are easier to install, no drilling needed.

@Madshadi Nope, not attached to the wall. I only showered the lower shelves. There is 4 tier for that one. It's a light weight galvanized steel. And, the plastic one we have in the garage is black, and so far it does support well surprisingly.

lol I'm not a fan of sharing too! Oh we recently bought the plastic 5 tier one and it's pretty sturdy says it holds 150 lbs per shelf or something crazy! We bought it at Staples for $40 and I had a $10 off, so it was $30 not bad - it's in the garage :) No tools required and easy to put together! My boyfriend likes building things so it's not too bad and he handscrewed everything didn't take him long probably 30 minutes for both.

@infatuatedbby are they attached to the wall? I can't see well in the picture. The reason why I want something cheap and easily removable is because I might get a bigger car and don't want all the extra space in my garage gone. The one I saw here costs about the same. I just hope it does hold that much of weight.

Basically, I share food and drinks with others. But only with people who have close relationship with me. Of course, if others want soem piece of food or drink from me, it's also okay, but please don't directly bite or sip on the food or drink themselves.

Yeah I'm like that also. I only share with immediate family and my boyfriend. I will share my food and drinks if they want but just cut it off and not bite directly as well!
