How contradictory can this be?

I hate pork (I think it's a very dirty meat), but I love bacon. I already tried to understand this situation, but until I never got an answer with which I conformed... What do you think of this? Would it be a case for detailed study?

I am not a pork fan either. I greatly dislike ham. But a bacon lover. I think it is the salty factor.

I know I was raised not eating pork. I have heard how it's not as cleanly as say beef or poultry. That said as an adult I quite like ham (though I prefer "turkey ham", it's just hard to find.) Some pulled pork is good, pepperoni and sasuage.... but I really am not that thrilled with bacon. I think what you like might be the curing flavors.

I would say probably because bacon is a refined form of pork?

I'm not much of a fan of pork myself, although I will eat it. I don't really like joints of pork and I don't like gammon. I will, however, eat bacon. The only difference between bacon and gammon, really, is the thickness of it. I also like Yorkshire puddings but not pancakes, even though their basic ingredients are exactly the same. The difference is in how they are cooked. I also know plenty of people who like tomato sauce, tomato soup, and other tomato flavoured things but don't like actual tomatoes. Perhaps it is the way things are cooked, the additives (or lack of them), the smell, or just the look of something which changes how we perceive or taste. After all, taste uses other senses. So if we don't like the look and smell of something, we're less likely to enjoy the taste.

Did you grow up eating bacon? But, later in life, you chose to not eat pork? That sounds like that is the case because I personally LOVE scrapple (pork scraps mixed with cornmeal and spices turned into loaves which are then sliced and fried like cornmeal mush). But, had I not eaten it growing up, I'd have never touched it as an adult.
