During the travel of my daughter to Bicol last December 25th where they were stranded for more than 14 hours in excess of the usual travel of 10 hours , the eateries where the bus stopped , were not to the liking of my daughter . Good thing she has bought 2 dozens of JCo donuts as her gift to us . It’s these she ate the whole day for her meals . So , when she gave me the box, when she arrived , it was minus six pieces already . The ones missing were the avocado and the green tea flavored ones. My favorites also . Can you survive eating your favorite donuts for meals the whole day ? I guess I can , when there’s nothing more to ease my hunger .

@SIMPLYD Oh for lunch snack that is okay. I thought she did not have dinner as her journey was a long one (over 14 hours). I am sure she enjoyed the chinese restaurant you all went too. Oh hehehe I thought it was your image..

I should replace all medicines and eat donuts instead. My first job in my life at 14 yrs old was working in the donut shop..I got so heavy.

So sorry to hear that your daughter got stranded. I would have eaten way more than six donuts! It ain't healthy but it sure is better than to starve.

If it's J Co donuts, maybe I can.. Hihihi unlike with the KK donuts which are tooooooo sweet... I love J Co and now after seeing that picture, I would love to get a box next time we visit Baguio. Oops! That's the nearest J Co branch here. Poor me...

Yes, it's not as sweet as Krispy Kreme . Why , where is your place of residence , my friend ? I am not surprised Baguio has a store of that too . Hefewhen it was new , people lines up to buy . Not anymore .

@brokenbee I think it's not like that anymore . You see , even here when there's a new store everybody wants to have a taste of it, that the store would have lots of people lining . But after a month or two , it's not anymore . Areyou from the same town as ingrid ?

@SIMPLYD Just a few miles away from Baguio City, hehehehe... in the lowlands... Yup, I had heard there are two branches there, one in SM Baguio and the other in Camp John Hay. I had also tried to fall in line for about 30 minutes before, just to have a box to bring home to my family. I am not sure if that's still the case now that it's been there for more than 4 years.

When I lived in the States I was hooked on Dunkin Donuts, but I have cut back on sugary stuff - so I haven't eaten a donut in years.

JCo donuts are special and taste good but can't survive with donuts because they are sweet. I'd rather eat camote or saba or white corn.
