The government with poor school menus? The adverts that entice our children or is it the parents fault?

I would say it's mainly the parents' fault, because they are the ones who inculcate values in the child and more or less determine what he or she eats.

My son was over weight for a while when he was younger, because I didn't let him go out and play alone, someone had to be with him, and I didn't have or make enough time for outside activity. This was my fault. He is slim now, but it was hard on him when he was younger. I still think children should be supervised when playing outside, but if I had it to do over, I would make more time for him. About the schools menu. Ours is not that great. My son came home the other day and said lunch was a bologna sandwich. He hates bologna. When I was in school they actually cooked. I don't understand why they can't do it now.

i think a mixture of all four points.although the parents have more of a say in what thier children eat on a day to day basis.
