TOO TRUSTING?

A young woman made the mistake of trusting her boyfriend too much. She allowed him to take intimate photos of the two of them, then unfortunately, they broke up. He is now threatening to send the photos to her parents or put them on the internet if she doesn't resume the relationship. I hope she learns from her mistake. You don't trust someone to that extent - especially as there is no guarantee that the relationship would be permanent. There are many 'wolves in sheep's clothing' out there waiting to ensnare the unsuspecting. How trusting are you?

She should report it to the police and he can be charged if she shares those pictures. I hops she learned from this.

Maybe some of them won't be bothered if they are exposed.

What an awful bully! She was stupid, and in this day and age should know better. It's a good thing that I am a prude!

I definitely am not that trusting. I hope she calls him on his threat. Sometimes that is all you can do.

I'm trusting, but I wouldn't allow anyone (even my husband) to take intimate photographs of me, that's not something I've ever seen work well for anyone-married or not.

@Kandae11, I hear this often. It is so sad that people betray our trust when we are no longer dealing with them. Sometimes life will teach us far more than our parents, often times parents try to tell us and we do not listen. When life shows you who people are I believe it. Thank you for sharing!

Living with regret can be awful. Where some things are concerned it is best to play it safe.
