Harry Potter and the Prejudice Against Slytherin

Ok, so. I just finished watching the entire Harry Potter series... again and couldn't help but feel incredibly angry toward some of the main characters. I never realised when I first watched the movies how nasty everyone is towards the Slytherin house, I get it, they're mostly full of bad guys. But come on! If they're all painted with the same brush then ofcourse they'll start acting like that. It becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. I never took note of this before oddly enough, I think it's because I read some Harry Potter Fanfiction from the POV of Draco Malfoy and other Slytherins. Bleh. I think I've ruined the series for myself, but it was nice to see the other side of the story.
