Water is not for me because I do not swim (lol) We gave up our city life to be with nature but we had to create it.

Nature can be a harsh mistress. Have you seen the film, based on a true story, "Into the Wild"? Survival in an Alaskan winter is not without its downsides. Exhilarating, but...

My last time was yesterday. Sad that there were so many others out there too with their cars which had made the snow turn into slush and puddles and it was mostly grey and no longer white. I can see it from my window on the top of the mountains though and I get a daily dose of that which is a real pick-me-up (and probably one of the reasons that I stayed here all those years ago too)

I haven´t been outdoors lately. I would like to spend a few days in nature, which I have done in the past. It´s a wonderful experience

@pgntwo I've never found it any warmer to swim with modesty than without. There's nothing worse that climbing out of the sea with cold, wet attire clinging to you, especially if it's a struggle getting out of it because your hands have gone numb. Well, leprosy might be worse.

Not much this week, but today I'll be out in the great outdoors, trying to pick up all the debris that the wind brought down from the trees in the last two weeks. I have five eager helpers (my grandchildren). My bribe.....a bonfire
