I think we are born with some inbuilt qualities and some of us are more emotional and some are less. I am an emotional person and it is difficult for me to be a stoic. Those of us who are nice by nature cannot be harsh with others, even if they wish.

I am very emotional. I think it makes me a good person, I am compassionate for others. Yes I get hurt...a lot. But I wouldn't want to be any other way to be honest. I can sleep at night knowing I have done the right thing and tried my hardest. From my experience practical people are less sympathetic towards others and their situations.

The good heart is not expected to be happy....It is expected to be contended dear....It's that feeling which should generate self happiness....At least you have a good heart and can live in peace...There are many others who don't and you won't even know the pain they go through behind a happy superficial life....
