The reason why only 2 of my older brothers came for Christmas was because my fourth brother was in UK and my kid brother went to Dubai to spend Christmas and new Year with his children. Kid brother arrived this afternoon and my 2 brothers fetched him from the international airport. This early, he already misses his 2 kids. Now, the three of them, my brothers, are singing their hearts out, videoke time at a restaurant in the airport. On the last week of the month, my third brother (the nurse working in UK) will be home for a 2-week vacation. Isn't it nice to be always in touch with your siblings though already orphans? Some live their lives to each his own; we don't. Picture follows later.

Siblings should keep in touch even if they have their own lives and parents departed already. It is nice to hear that you do.

When siblings gets together , because they live far , it will really be a blast . I am sure it will also be a blast when your third brother arrives for a 2 week vacation . Will your brothers still be there when your third brother arrives ?

@SIMPLYD when my kid brother arrived, my 2nd and 3rd brother went to fetch him, then they had videoke time. the 4th brother asked that when he comes home, all my brothers should see him back too, at the airport. no, i don't think we will be together. but we may call each other by messenger or my phone anyway

@ridingbet So many people don't get along with family members. We are lucky! Enjoy being with them.

@DianneN yes, and this holds true with an afternoon television series that i and @SIMPLYD are following- 'the greatest love' which is about a mother who has Alzheimer's disease and her children are always quarreling with each other

That's how families should be, even if they live far apart the bond is always there.

i agree with you. but there are some families here that are no longer connected with each other (examples are some of our neighbors)
