I have seen, many times, even my self, that is very Easy to give advise to others but when it comes to us, its next to Impossible to follow. With me it has happened many times, that I give very clear and true advise when I see someone in trouble, but when I face same kind of situation, I also behave in same way. Even after knowing the right solution, I behave opposite. I think it happens with everyone. Do share your experience, if it has happened with you also.

I have that problem. I will listen to others advise for me, but I will not carry out actions on my own advise.

That's how we live and react.. We get closer to people when giving or taking an advice.Advice is another name for care and it doesn't demand to be followed....

@vindhya93 True, we care so we give a genuine advise. But same thing is not true when we face a similar situation, specially in relationships and life.

true, we seem to be more mindful when telling other advice, and sometimes lack listening ourselves. Its something to work on. I doing that because it can be hard to accept but easy to give at times

I think it's easier to give advice than to take it because most the time when you're giving it you're not emotionally invested the way the person is so it's easy to have a non bias opinion but when it's you, you're emotionally invested so even though you might know the right thing to do its hard because how it'll affect you emotionally

Because normally people dont like to obey others and they think they are always right. ..
