Day 135
Proverbs 16:20
Proverbs 16:20 He that handles a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusts in the LORD, happy is he.
Everyone has a way of doing things they feel is in the best interest for their lives and if they are in public office, the lives of those under their authority.
Solomon started his public life on the right foot when he asked God for wisdom to govern his people. He had a record for wisdom in dealing with issues brought to him and he trusted the Lord in handling those issues. Solomon’s fame spread to many nations about the wisdom he displayed in his business dealings regarding the kingdom.
As Christians, when you put God first in everything you do, you will find the wisdom in handling your day to day matters. It isn’t easy to trust anyone with your life, but when you learn to trust God with your life and know he only has your best interests in mind for you, you will be able to trust every area of your life to him.
Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. (KJV)
Those things Jesus talked about are what you need for your life – food, clothes, shelter. When you can trust God for those things, you will be able to trust God in every area of your life, and you will be able to make wise decisions because you learned to trust God.
Are you ready to trust God in every area of your life?
Let’s pray: Father, help me trust you in every area of my life. Give me the wisdom I need to do what is necessary in everything I do. In Jesus’ name, I pray, amen.

Thank you so much for this! This is a great reminder that we all should tell to God our plans and lean not on our own understanding. I admit, without God I am nothing. I can only do things because of His mercy. God bless you Valerie!

Definitely a good reminder. I think it's easy to fall into the trap of "well if I do my bit, then God will do the rest.."
It's actually not how things work, and letting go is very scary at times.

@Drosophila So true. We are commanded to work. The Bible says, Work while it is day, because the night comes when no man can work. I think it's Matthew, but I would need to look it up to be certain.
