What to Make of Unfriendly Friends?

Perhaps the roots of such behavior are the damaged human nature? We meet persons in the world and colleagues in our work place who behave in unfriendly way. A colleague got her citizenship card (known as Adhaar cards) done three days ago. She passed by our door but decided not to utter a word about where she was going. She knows very well that members of our family are yet to get such cards. Other times, she would sit in our room and chat for hours. Strange, isn't it, how some ""friends" behave in an unfriendly manner?

Maybe she thought that by talking about it is a way of showing off? Which is why she did not say something?

I don't think she was being unfriendly but courteous. She knew that members of your family didn't have the card and didn't want to brag about it. You might have felt a lot different if she had put it in your face about the card. She was being very considerate of your feelings.

Such selfish people are not at all good for friendship. If somebody behaves with me this way,I may forgive them, but I don't forget it what they did to me.

Sometimes she does tell where she is going. Sometimes, she is very secretive too.
