After a gray rainy day, the sun finally made an appearance a few minutes before sunset. I couldn't resist taking this photo.
I wanted to post it, but had to get ready to go out for out for a Chinese dinner with our friends.
I'm home, fully sated, and still trying my best to catch up on notifications. I probably shouldn't have taken a few hours off myLot to read my book, but couldn't resist.
Goodnight. I will see you tomorrow on a sunny day!

Absolutely beautiful! I so envy you with the view you are treated to every day. I look out and see a trailer, and another trailer, and another. But, when I drive down the back road I am treated to some great views. The old farm, the town from far away nestled in a fog, or the sun going down over the mountain.

@DianneN we do have trees in the backyard. But right now it is a barren sight. Mud everywhere dotted with some snow.

@ElusiveButterfly I clearly remember Vermont in the early spring. Mud everywhere. Soon those trees will be greening up. That's why I love Florida so much in the winter.

I do not know what's it with the sun. You are not the only one. I have a folder busting at the seans with sunrise photos and I am still ready to shoot. It is an addiction of sorts
That is a great photo.

Yes, the buildings do look like they were made of gold.

The sun hits those buildings like that nightly at sundown. The water was so calm that you can see the reflections of the buildings in the water. I couldn't grab my camera fast enough. It was gone in a matter of minutes. You know I love it here!
