It's harvesting month and the mangoes had been growing since last month. We didn't harvest because our wooden pole was broken until it was fixed. I wasn't interested in plucking until a neighbor was attempting to pluck it But I was there so he asked permission. But I called mom instead and let her decide. After that I just decided to pluck a few myself before some one else's takes it all. But I forgot I was still drying my shorts and it fell right into them. I had to add it to my day's laundry, which was planned anyway.

Mom used to smoke the tree allowing it to grow further and I guess that did the trick @cahaya1983

What variety of mango is that? We also have a neighbor who always asks for our fruits. Last week, she asked if she can buy some mangoes which she knows even before that were not selling our mango fruits. My father told them that they can just get some if they want to eat. He said, we're waiting for the "balikbayans" who will come and get some mangoes and also my mother's friends from another province. Our neighbor asks some before so she could sell them in school. Hmmmm We don't sell ours to her while she's just asking and she's selling. Hmmmm

Some one the same thing but Mom refused because it was something you don't sell at school. Most specially if your giving it freely. @brokenbee you know people like that will just abuse it.

@brokenbee That was the first time a Neighbor did that to us. But it's not the first time some one wanted to buy our mangoes, which mom kept refusing.

@Letranknight2015 Yup that's true. They take advantage of our kindness. And to think, they are just new neighbors, like they are just there for one year and that's not their own lot. Awww

We won't get any from our trees until about May - June. Those in the picture look rather tempting.

I just see flowers on our mango trees. It will take atleast two months for them to be ready. But this time I am expecting a bumper crop. Good luck with your shorts (lol)

@Letranknight2015 I am dealing with mangoes since the last 20 years. Surely I know a bit about how mangoes are born

That is actually how it starts @allknowing from flowers then they turn into fruits. Be patients your will grow very soon.

@Letranknight2015 that is why when you pluck mangoes, it is better to use the old and 'dirty' clothes.
