I'll see you when I'm a year older!

I love birthdays. It's sort of like another New Year's day, only one that is personal to the person celebrating. And tomorrow that person will be me. Feb. 1 is my own, personal birthday. I remember what I was doing today, 1/31 a year ago. The picture I'm using on here was taken at that time. I had went about an hour north to one of the nearest gambling casinos and got myself a room. All by myself. Now you might be thinking, why by myself, and why a casino if I don't like to gamble. Other than the occasional game of bingo - I don't really play. Well, there is so much else to do at a casino. People watch, swim in the pool, listen to the local band in the bar... enough to keep me amused. Why alone? you ask. I really don't mind it. While I like spending time with my friends too - I find that they usually make plans as to what they want to do and when, and that doesn't always line up with what I want, but I go along to get along. This way there is no pressure. I can do whatever I want, whenever I want without offending someone. I will have my casino get away only in a week. Can't wait. Tomorrow I have the day off. I think I will get up, dress nice and head out. I will enjoy breakfast and reading at McDonald's. Then I will do a little shopping for things I want and need , have a chiropractic appointment to get rid of the ache in between my shoulders, and go to Cherry Berry for a free dessert. After that In will end up at my favorite Mexican restaurant with my parents and then we will go play the little free game of bingo at a local bar. And from there I might end up listening to some Blues music before heading home. Should be a nice day. Guess how old I am. No need to guess younger - I don't get offended easily
