The howling of dog superstition

One of the superstitious beliefs is the howling of dog. It is said that it is a bad omen. Someone near is going to get worse or die. The dog is howling because it is seeing the wind of death.
Several nights ago, the dog of our neighbor was howling in the middle of the night, which was not known for it. Then yesterday morning, one of the members of the house of our neighbor slipped in the bathroom and fell down hitting his head on the toilet bowl. There has been a lot of bleeding which also caused her to die.
The howling of dog superstition can be true or not but I know prayer can still prevent it. Every time I hear a dog howling, I always say a prayer for my family and love ones to be safe.

I'm not too sure about the superstition of howling dogs. When ever I hear the sound of a howling dog it generally means that the next door neighbor has gone out to get there groceries. This is the first time I have hear of a dog howling as a bad omen.
