Alone at Last

Our nephew and his girlfriend spent the last couple of days as our overnight guests. We had a great time, but they are gone until Thursday. My nephew rented a Mustang convertible. They are visiting friends in Miami, then spending some time in the Florida Keys. My husband just left the house, as he does everyday, to make his rounds of the many antique shops around here. If my headache magically disappears, I'll be at the pool and visiting my friend for drinks in her condo. I really should pop in to visit my brother, too, since he is just down the hall from my friend. At least I'm alone for now.

@DianneN OH dear sorry to hear that. Best to stay in and relax but drink plenty! I always feel uncomfortable liking something when what you have said is nothing to like about. Get well soon!

@DianneN Oh sorry to hear that. The headache must have been a warning then. I wish you a quick recovery. I noticed that many people in mylot have the stomach bug recently. It must be a seasonal bug all around the world.

I always enjoy my time alone.. when I get up and my husband is still slepping is my alone time and I can catch up on reading etc..

@DianneN the only reason I do is my husband had a lot of back problem so he is up most of the night and then when he does fall asleep I let him stay that way.

I'm back to the crazy life again, but I love it! My brother is flying home on Tuesday, but will be back two weeks later with his wife and dog. Sneaking in time with friends. I've ignored most of them and feel badly. Not much time to be here, which drives me insane.

I drink a lot of water anyway, even to wash down my Extra Strength Tylenol. As fate would have it, I wound up with a stomach bug. I sipped water so I would stay hydrated. All better today.
