Painting just for fun

I like to do paintings for my family and friends and for myself. Now I got 3 ideas in my head but not sure when I will get my equipments so I could get in off my head to the canvas. I like to use colors and my style is not realistic because I just don't know how to make it 
I been trying to learn different techniques.
Paintings in my picture are all my work. Motocross picture is really old I made it when I was about 13 years old. Then shape of Africa I made for my friend because he missed home so much. Last one looks like Earth and moon but that's no moon. It's Death Star from Star Wars and so it's not suppose to be our planet just similar. I made it for my dad for his birthday couple years ago and he love it so much 
I would like to get tips how to make my paintings look more real so feel free to leave a comment. Any feedback is also welcome.

Nice to see a painter here.. I can see you are an artist.. I like the motocross best.. It looks like the pictures show well here in myLot now - when I posted a couple of pictures here before, they were turned the wrong way.. Let's see if I can post more pictures later.. I like to paint a bit surrealistic too..

Don't force yourself to do realism or realistic painting, just follow your style and do what you do best. You have potential, discover for yourself what genre your works fall under, practice often or when you have a chance, carry a sketch pad and make studies of what you plan to paint, you will improve with time and lots of practice , good luck.

Great going! You can do the picture that is drawn from the perspective of a person driving a car and seeing a beautiful sunset in an amazing background outside.
