@Daljinder Why are you not happy? You just went for a holiday and came back.

Those who are financially sound and have a regular source of earnings and a place to leave are happy.

Absolutely right! Learn to cherish and contented on what we have. Specially in marriage be contented with each other and don't look for another one... Shame on them.

You will never be happy in life if you feel that you lack something.
But if you can appreciate all the things that you have, can appreciate the beauty of life and most importantly can accept the life that you have, then that's the only time that you can say that you have a happy life

@Priyanka1990 but the sad fact is, there are very few people who actually says that they are contented and happy with their life.
Normally, people are craving individuals.
We continue on craving and asking for more

So true. My mother had told me once, " When a person feels that he has nothing good about his life, he should look at the people who are living in lesser luxuries than him and make himself content. When a person feels he has achieved everything in life, he should look at people who have achieved more than him and take inspiration from them." For a happy life contentment is very essential. Struggling for basic necessities is different but being greedy is different. Appreciating present is important I feel.

Don't feel sad. Because happiness is a relative term and sadness is not permanent. Moreover, what is lotted, cannot be blotted.

Yah, it's also true. It's so hard to be contented. Because man has unlimited wants and desires to fulfil.

Happiness are moments. It's not something fixed. So there is no one 100% happy all the time.

I believe...."a person is happy..when he is self-satisfied,humble,has high morale principles, optimistic,a little extrovert..and without any inferiority complex...along with a strong personality ,he or she needs to have a strong mind too...should not break down...at one's disrespectful comments...insults.."
of course ...that's my point of view only....

Very true. A person who is never content in his own condition can never be satisfied, hence never truly happy.
