I recently told some of you we don't do gifts for Valentine's Day...

Well, I guess I have to take that back!
While my husband waited for me to get my hair cut little did I know that he went to the local florist (yes, even our tiny town has a florist!). When I got in the car I thought there was a perfume smell, but I assumed it was some hair product the girl used!
When we got home my husband told me to go in the house without him. He said he wanted to park in a different area to make room for the counter top installers. I didn't think much of it until a few minutes later when he came in the kitchen with the flowers.
He said there were all sizes of arrangements made up and most had 'sold' signs. I didn't know there were so many romantics (aka smart men) in our little town!
Photo is mine.

Aww, lucky you. It's so pretty!
My husband won't bring me flowers. I have 4 cats that will eat them. He might do some candy instead.

@AbbyGreenhill Yep, they like to munch on them, or knock them over.. they just won't leave them alone, so I don't bother to have them in the house.

@AbbyGreenhill The problem with my husband is that he never takes with him money and not even the credit card. The day he had to go to the hospital and I stayed at home he realized he did not even had the driver license and the car documents with him.

@LadyDuck My husband is never without his wallet - even working outside he has it with him...I keep asking why? I don't carry my purse into the yard. I assume he had to go back home for the documents first?

We go to the same shop for hair cuts - they do him first and he goes outside and waits in the car while I get mine cut..he sneaked out of the parking lot - florist is two mins away.

That is SO pretty. I can't imagine the rest were nicer than this one! What a lovely thing for your husband to do, especially if it is out of the blue.

Very sweet of him! Sometimes my hubby buys flowers but not often.
I do enjoy them even though they don't last long.
