In 1985 I was hurt and was in a coma for two weeks and after I got out I was in a wheelchair for awhile and my sister and my mother took me to the grocery store asking me what I wanted. I had a brain laps of words (still sometimes do) and I could not think of what it was called that I wanted to get. I would say things to my sister like, "That stuff we had at Ranch House (a restaurant we both worked at) that has holes in it." They pushed me around the store for hours hoping that I would see what this was I wanted........finally I saw it! SWISS CHEESE!!!!!!!!! I have joked about it for years!

You must love cheese a lot (who doesn't) to be hankering for it after coming out of a coma. Comfort food?

I have that same issue sometimes. Can't think of the word. Just a few seconds transpire but it is scary for me just the same.

Now I have it still or again with the Fibromyalgia. Yes it is scary sometimes and some other times when it keeps happening I just start laughing.

It is nice that you woke after 2 weeks of sleep. It is also funny that we lost words upon waking up.

@Shavkat I have had miminal treatment because the state cut off my medicade after about six months of me being diagnosed. But it takes a long time with someone with Fibromyalgia to get diagnosed because there is not a persay test for it. The doctor has to outrule other diseases.

@dfollin That's painful. Fibromyalgia needs to be treated as early as possible.

@dfollin I hope you are doing fine. Is it possible to ask for physiotherapy services at home?

I only do not remember when I was attacked and just before it. I only know what I was told most likely happened.

Well thankfully I haven't had such a bad accident but I now have problems trying to come up with the right words. I think it is an age thing.
