Can you stay one day without accessing the internet?

February 14, 2017 9:18am CST
At the time we live, I think it's very difficult (but it's not impossible, of course ) for someone not to access the internet every day (even for at least a few minutes). Whether to read some news, watch some video, talk to someone, listen to some music online or whatever. The addiction may exist, but when it becomes unmanageable... You need to pay more attention.

Which is why my husband and I choose our holidays in remote areas with no internet access! It makes for a pleasant break.

If not busy, I enjoy myself checking my social media accounts and internet is unlimited. Lol. But if busy, I tend to ignore the internet world. I think I can manage.

I always kind of look forward to checking in. When I'm at the family cabin in Montana, I have no internet access, and I kind of enjoy that.

I can and have. I work remote mostly by computer but when off work, many times I don't turn it on. Even my phone is silent.

Yes, it is habit forming. Not just for fooling around but a necessity for looking up things such as research or needing tips on a plumbing project.

That is an easy question for me. Friday before I light candles for our Sabbath I get things ready that I have be turned off or be on. I do not go on the computer at all on our Sabbath and certain holidays.
