Balingup, Western Australia, has some quaint street art which I've already shown in other posts. There are two bicycles, complete with flowers, and a lovely big flower made with bottle-tops. I've 'show-cased' both to those. As you wander along the street, there are also several colourful benches covered with mosaic tiles. While these wouldn't be comfortable for too long, they make an attractive statement and are utilised by various passers-by. Mosaic work is quite popular with those who like doing craft work. Does anyone here work with mosaics? Uh oh, the photo won't load even though it is miniscule in size. I'll try again later.

Some people make all sorts of things with mosaics. It's not my favourite sort of craft.

I can see it now so it's hard to know what to do about it. I uploaded it a couple of times and eventually I could see it and it is there now - for me at least. I'd add it here in case it 'takes'.

I made several ashtrays years ago out of mosaic tiles. They turned out really good.

I remember seeing mosaic patterns on the floors of old Roman baths - and that was in the south of England!

Although it's nice, I don't particularly like mosaics. They never to square up properly. I think I'm getting a bit OCD in my old age.
