Funny How Strange Things Make You Wake Up

I was sleeping soundly when I hear the alarm go off and in my sleep I am thinking why? We rarely use the alarm, only if my husband is going to catch a plane at 4 AM. He's not going anywhere right now. It was someone's panic button on their car in my neighborhood. I didn't even look at the clock to see what time it was. I fell back to sleep within minutes.
Then I heard someone locking the door and I knew that would be my very quiet husband sneaking away at dawn to go to the YMCA.
What the heck, I'll get up.
It is snowing to beat the band. It is lovely out there and I'm so glad I'm in here. I just got my iPad and headed out to get a photo and the snow has almost stopped but it is pretty..
I enjoyed reading the paper this morning. All of us who think Trump is an IDIOT are smiling a bit this morning knowing that the Idiot is in trouble because he lies so much he doesn't know what is truth or what isn't. One down and I'm guessing two or three will be fired soon too. Can't wait for America to “Impeach” him for his craziness, his lies, and his lack of any brains at all and his connection with Russia.. My opinion of course.
I have to paint today and deliver to the store in Niagara On The Lake tomorrow. If the roads are clear...

That's just a phrase used about a lot of things - if its going on fast and furious..I didn't even realize i wrote that until you mentioned it, obviously one of my "sayings".

@PainsOnSlate And not used here I guess because we have no snow although in actual fact we have more snow than Switzerland but just in a very small portion of the country.

No i won't be happy until he is removed, and I'm pretty sure that will happen...fingers crossed.The VP isn't any better but at least he has a brain, and he seems to not be mentally ill.

@PainsOnSlate We had a point this year when they had us all ready and were just sure we would get it, it fizzled. Some of my kids have not seen any because the last time we had any was about 3-4 years ago. I may have to just make a winter trip someplace to let them see it.

@mom210 probably not a great idea, because those who live in a no snow area usually don't know how to drive in snow either... Take a bus or train or a driver who lived in the north...

He is an idiot and I truly believe he is there just to take as much money as he can...he lies, he is embarrassing America and I hope he's removed very soon...yesterday he insulted a guest from the German Government and also refused to shake her hand...

You are probably getting lake effect snow... it always fascinated when people said that when we first moved here. I had no idea why the great lakes could make snow worse...until I saw Buffalo...

Leaving at dawn in the snow to go to the YMCA?
Wow, that is good!
The snow is often pretty in a photo, but we are hoping we don't see it again this season or next. One year (1992?) we had a freak storm in May. Very strange.

The YMCA is about 5 minutes away from our house so that's not a biggie. We haven't had a ton of snow in years, this year an inch and it melts and another inch and it melts...its been calm this winter. Except one day of freezing rain was interesting...

I love to see snow settled on the land.... I know it can be hazardous for going out and about ... but I do love to see the landscape under a blanket of snow... enjoy your painting day....
