Dusting Makes Me Depressed

I don't know why but every time I have to do some dusting I get very depressed.
It seems to be getting worse as I get older.
This morning I was doing some dusting with the vacuum cleaner brush and then with a dusting rag. I had to dust some of our son's sports trophies that are still here at our house.
So I became so depressed that I have decided that I will give them their trophies to take to their own houses during the coming weekend.
My time for dusting trophies has passed.
Does dusting make you feel depressed?

I hate dusting but it certainly doesn't depress me LOL! I took the dust rag out a week ago - it's still sitting where I put it !!!

No not really not unless I have a load of cleaning to do which I have had this week.
But even then I might pull a bit of a face but I still do it anyway. I use a damp cloth not very wet to do most things as the dust makes me sneeze.
However if its their stuff that I am having to dust it will find its way to their own House.
I have a lot of dusting to do and I quite enjoy myself when I am busy and with the flow of things.

No, never use that anymore at all only a clean damp cloth. Not too damp and sometimes I have to dust every day as we are near to Motorways all four of them.
I did use Pledge because I had to being working in Hotels but it dried my skin out on my hands did not like it at all.

Now that sounds like a good idea.... I do not like dusting either... it does not make me depressed... but .. anything, that means less dusting, is a good thing...

@sueznewz2 , Unfortunately, the dust does not go away, even if we have less things.

@marlina yes ... that's true... but dusting a half empty shelf is easier than dusting ornaments and trophies....

Is it only dusting or any boring chore that depresses you?

Maybe you just misses them.
When I am a bit young dusting all my books is not a problem but today it makes my chest tighten I don't know... As if I can't dust them all again and back to the shelf.

Have a good clear out and get rid of them then you won't feel down having to dust the blooming things! You know you dust today and tomorrow it will look the same. It is a never ending job!

No cleaning bothers me for some reason. Maybe it is time to put things away so you don't have to dust so much?
