I'm a habitue of my daughters' grade school library. And every time I scour the shelves, I find the same gems that gave me so much reading delight when I was young. I still read children's books until now. ;o) Guess I'll never get over them.
My all-time fave children's books are:
- The Nancy Drew series
- The Secret Garden
- A Little Princess
- The Little House series
- Chronicles of Narnia
- Lord of the Rings
I might have more in my list, but it's only 6:45 A.M. and my mind is still a little crabby.

I loved Nancy Drew. Nope, I don't read them anymore as there's a whole lot of books I need to read. I like memoirs, biographies and non fiction stuff now. Enjoy those safe books.

I love to read memoirs and biographies too -- especially the happy kind, like those of Frances Mayes.
