Hello, I work in the navy and although sometimes I feel that I do not have a very useful job, because most of the time we are doing training, and not doing something real, then I change my mind when we can help someone I feel better, or When people are looking forward to visiting the boat, asking questions and posing for photos. I love to visit other countries, I started to work in 2003 and I have visited many countries: Portugal, France, Norway, Denmark, Djibouti, India, Pakistan, Scotland, Ireland, Germany, Italy, Oman, Greece ... So I suppose I have a good job, although I miss my family.

The perks of being in the job is being able to see the world. I envy that part of navy's life.

That theme is something that many people in the navy do not know how to appreciate

You are right, it is rare that we are more than two days in a foreign port, usually only the weekend, the only country I have had the most time to visit has been the United States (Norflok and Mayport) for two weeks .

You are doing something good for your country -- and you never know when the navy will be called upon for defense purposes.

It must be exciting to see all the places in the world. My Father was a US Merchant Marine. He often brought back wonderful gifts from countries. I know he loved the sea.
