Can you get in trouble for being naked in your own home?

Was just letting my cat out of the back door and could hear the neighbours out in their backyard talking. Made me think about something. Sometimes when I am home alone I will wander around the house in little to no clothing. Why? Well because I can and because the weather has been so hot lately! Or I could just be walking around looking for clothes because I just got out of the shower. Or I may just walk around in a long shirt. Before doing so, I make sure all the blinds and curtains are closed. Especially the back door curtains for the neighbours behind us are actually on a hill so they can stand in their backyard and see into our lounge room very easily. Then I got to thinking.....what if someone was parading around in the privacy of their own home and didn't think to close the curtains? The neighbours would have to be snooping first to notice this but what would happen if it bothered the neighbours so much that they reported indecent exposure? Who wins this case? The naked person or the snoops?

Some people are exhibitionists and like being ogled.

Yes, that can be true, Kandase.... but I really didn't appreciate it in the story I told in my box, though! I was too upset to enjoy being viewed! LOL! (It is funny now, but I was too mad at the time!)

I really have no idea but in your own home you should be allowed to dress the way you want to.

It's your house it's your rule... you're not in the public places to be called as exhibitionist.

I'm not sure but your inside the house. And actually they shouldn't be looking in the first place. I think if your parading outside the house then probably they have a cause now to report you.

@diosabella That's right! If they are watching then, that's their issue. And yep, outside would definitely be a bad outcome.

@VivaLaDani13 If this happens, you already know who the snoop is.

This like thieves and police.Ninty nine days are of thief but one day of police also. I mean if you secure your side always to you but anything could be one day. But don't worry. All is good.

Keep your blinds closed and have a pair of shorts or a robe handy if you need some cover in a hurry.
