Most people have a strong preference when it comes to peanut butter..OF course I am talking about crunchy or smooth. I grew up with crunchy, but my son always liked smooth so I find myself buying more smooth these days..but I do like both. WHat about you? Are you a crunchy or a smooth?

Yes, oddly enough I had started this discussion and had something in my email about National Peanut Butter Lovers Day. I think I must have heard something without realizing it on the news..the strange thing is, I had a peanut butter sundae yesterday...something I really never do..I should have waited!

@snowy22315 They are delicious if your like sweets. They have peanut butter, corn syrup, cornflakes, and ricerispies. Plus icing on top, but optional.

It's either crunchy or nothing! I love the super crunchy even better. Unfortunately, in my house I am outnumbered 3 to 1 and so I almost never get any unless I buy it myself. I like eating it by itself on a spoon.

I love peanut butter, but not usually by itself.

I liked crunchy when I was a kid but now that my teeth aren't very good anymore I only eat smooth. =)

Yikes, you are young for dental problems..check for a low cost dental clinic near you. Sometimes like a local health and wellness center has them.

@LovingMyBabies OH OK..most dentists these days offer gentle dentistry. I am sure they could help you out.

@snowy22315 I would have to be put under to be seen by a dentist. I shake uncontrollably as soon as I get in the chair. They cannot work on me like that. I have had bad teeth my whole life, even my baby teeth were rotted fast when I was little. =(

I think I like crunchy and milky creamy peanut butter. I don't like very smooth one's. I want it a little oily and coarse

You would probably like the natural peanut butter..I am a little leery of that though. I got sick once after I ate it..so, I haven't had much of it since that time many years ago.

@DianneN Your dedication to PB is admirable! My sis and I used to dip our chocolate bunny ears into it at Easter Time.

@snowy22315 I've been known to stick a finger in a jar and suck it off. Lol!

Have to admit that I prefer crunchy, but you go through it sooooo much faster! That's the only downside!

I prefer crunchy but smooth does spread easier on nice warm toast

They both have their advantages..crunchy has more fiber.
