You actually do realize the value of things when you don’t have them. In India most of the place there are so many water supply issues that you only get water once in three days. Back to our old place we had water 24x7 flowing so we were not so much use to storing water but since we have shifted to a new place our routine has changed. Here the water comes only in the morning for 15 minutes maximum, just imagine what can be done in those 15 minutes. We were just adjusting to those 15 minutes of water supply and suddenly from the past two days no water. Its in the morning when we heard that the motor which pushed the water to overhead tank has been burnet and have no idea when it will be operative. Me and my husband had to go three floors down and up just to get two gallons of water drinking purpose. Hope the issue gets resolved tomorrow and the water supply resumes.

If we had some warning when these things were going to happen, it would be easier. When storms are headed our way we prepare by having water ready. Without a warning, it gets complicated.

I hope everything will be fine and will be able to have water supplies 24/7. Water is very basic needs that we use in our dailyblifestyle specially in cooking and cleaning and good hygiene to avoid sickness too.

@luisadannointed Sorry for late reply, but things have got on track since the last 3 months or so they had an extra pipeline fitted to cope with the water issues.
