Do you have internet?

I read a lot here. I talk a lot too and yesterday, while talking with a friend here @Asylum , I was reminded of a question that appeared often as the title of a discussion on the older version of myLot. I had a laugh while we were talking about it and an idea came to mind Why not use it here - so I did and used it as the title of this post. Not only am I interested to know who has internet but also to see who only reads the title of a post (though that is often easy to spot when reading other responses ) Do you read other responses too when you open up a discussion and, if you do, is it before or after you have left your own response? Enjoy and happy Lotting!

I don't have internet. I have to read the post - otherwise what's the point, right? I know I can tell when someone didn't read my post . . . and even though I won't call them out on it, it's quite disappointing . . . and I don't want anyone to feel that way towards me. Comments, it all depends, but most of the time I do comment before reading what everyone else says.

Heeeheeee I have to read them too. There is often something interesting, other than the topic itself, but a new way of saying something which I might have been unaware of. I comment without readin others firstoo. I continue the conversation that I was having in that particular box.

@mysdianait Oh yah, there's always something interesting here . I love continuing conversations, but sometimes it's so hard to keep up with all the conversations. But it's fun to try!! Which reminds me I need to go back to some of my old posts . . . .

Sometimes I read all responses before I respond but not when there are loads. Sometimes I am so eager to reply, I don't care what anyone else has said as I am just lost in the moment. "What's your favourite pizza topping?" Is the one I remember seeing most of on ye olde myLot.

I was amused as soon as I saw the title because it was obvious where you had got it from. I always read the entire post first, but only check other responses afterwards. You probably recall the posts made in the old days with deliberately misleading titles, which always caught out many people.

I guessed you would recognise it Yes those were the days! We had a lot of fun with so many of them. I have a couple that I would love to reviv as there are now so many newer users who would be unaware that it was a re-erun but I can't get them worded right yet but I am getting there. We already have a winner here BTW

Yes we have Internet and I most always read the Title first. If I donĀ“t get to read the Title first or I have forgotten its because I am reading the post itself. So then I go back to the title and stay with that to make up my mind how to respond.

You read more than just the title, which is what I hoped everyone does. Obviously not though as there is one response here which still has me in fits of laughter

I am lacking something important : what is internet ? I read all the discussion and all the responses, but I do not find it. Seriously, I always read all the discussion and a few responses before giving mine.

I read then like and then respond after I read all of it as titles can mislead I have often had people not read beyond the title' which made for some weird responses. of' course I have internet how else to be in here.

I always read the entire post before leaving a comment, but I was amused posting misleading titles and checking who were all those who only read the title. I read the other comments and some are funny. Now, I reply in the order: YES I have internet , YES I read the discussion and not only the title.

I always read the post but I have been accused of not reading a post because sometimes my comments are not to the writers liking. It irritates me so if they do it I usually don't bother with them much after. If you read my responses you can tell that I have read the post.

I think that more mistakes are made when people only read the title, like happened here too If you find that your question has already been answered, that gives you a chnace to make another comment oon the response where the answer was posted.

If I understand the topic of the discussion very, I don't bother checking others responses I just give my comments straight way. But if I didn't get the topic of the discussion I tried to read other people's opinion. If after I still don't get it very well even after perusing through people's comments, I'll quit the discussion.

What is internet, may I know? Yes, when I have lots of time to waste here, I would read other responses. Sometimes when I already have something in mind, I immediately respond. If nothing comes to mind, I scroll down and see what the others write and comment on their response first, hoping something would come to my mind later on. What about you?

@Jlyn10 That could well be the reason. I have been pretty free these first days of Match and have had long stretches here and have been able to keep up with things more than usual. @mysdianait I think your mind is working better than mine cause sometimes I am lost for words and really don't know what to comment. Maybe it's because I couldn't spend too much time here and was in a rush and mind gets stuck.

The other responses here are good to read. It helps us keep up with what others are thinking, saying. It seems some not in the US don't have Internet the way we expect it to be here. Some have said they have to add service to their phones in order to be on myLot and no clue here how that works
