I have a very good friend,we live in same apartment. When I shifted here, I met her. We become good friends as we both same age, our children in same class. We spent a lot's of time together playing, walking, till one day when she joined her job again and became extremely busy because her job requires her to travel all Asian countries.
Suddenly I was left alone, although we talk and text on whatsapp but most of the time she is out of country so I don't want to disturb her.
Sometimes I miss her company.
Have you ever missed your friend badly.

It is understandable that you miss the company of your friend because you used to share common interests and were there to support each other. Life is so busy now a days that in apartment culture, people do not even know who their neighbors are, in such a scenario forging friendship is a big thing.
We were group of four friends in school. One of them has gone abroad, we miss him but whenever he visits India, he make sure to catch up with us.

@Bodyandbrain There is nothing like meeting in person, rather than getting in touch on whatsapp etc.

That's so nice that at least you all meet once in a while.

Whenever she is back for few days she needs to arrange her family's needs and house. She has two children and her husband is also most of the time on tours, so it's very difficult for them.
Now we rarely meet.

Yes, sometimes I will miss my good friends. In fact I dreamed one of them but unfortunately we lost the contact long time ago. We may not see each other again since she is in another country. It is too bad that we can lose the contact in the internet time. But perhaps she wants to have a new life and therefore she doesn't want to be in touch with old friends.

Yes it happens and that is life. People move on in their lives and lose contact with old friends. One of my school friends searched me on Facebook and now we're again in touch and what's up every day, talk often.

@youless sometimes looking back to remember happy memories is good and we should use this to boost our mood when we are sad or down but otherwise looking forward is good way.

You will read about it here
We were neighbours and went to the same school. We were known in school as 'best friends' and this friendship continued till school life. We then parted ways....

It happens that for unknown reasons we loose the connection with our friends although we miss them so much.

This happens with me as well. Sometimes we tend to be so engrossed in our professional lives that we unintentionally are not able to give time. I have a friend. We used to be in same college yet then college changed and gradually many things shifted to virtual world. We do talk through WhatsApp like you guys yet face to face interactions and conversations have naturally decreased due to different colleges, different peer groups, different schedules, different priorities and a lot more aspects. Sometimes when I really feel like sharing or celebrating something face to face, be it a good or a bad news, I am not able to. All I am able to do is text him up. Those are the most prominent moments when I miss him the most yet meeting in person is not possible.
Does your friend also misses you like you miss her?

Yes, as much as I understand. We tried to keep connected but her job is too demanding and it was the reason she had quit it,but she could not adjust being just a house maker so joined again.

@amandajay yes mostly people pretend to be nice and friendly just for their benefits, even they count their every favour and want some favour in return.
But believe me good people are still there.

It's so nice that you and your good friend have such an enviable friendship, moreover your kids are in same class. You are considerate that you don't want to disturb her and I believe she knows this exactly and she wants to walk and play with you at the same time.
Though I am just 19 years old,I have two best friends, one has been 8 years now, we both think it counts like a long time till now ;another is 3 years, but we treat each other from heart.I hope my friendships can like yours!

This is very normal thing which occurs in everyone's life. I missed my school friends when I joined college . I missed my college friends when I left college. There are several instances when I left few friends and made new ones but as a whole I miss all those lovely friends.

Yea sure, I have a friend like that too, we were good childhood friends tho he travelled out of the country after college , at first we communicate but with time he just stopped, anytime I call or text he'll reply busy. Recently I called him and he ignored with a text that I shouldn't call him again. Such is life.
