Isn't it awesome?!
800 hungry people were fed food that was left over in this years oscars. This is the first time (accordingg to the picture) that food from oscars has gone unwasted. All thanks to Frieda Pinto for tying up with an NGO to help feed the 800 people.
This is a real welcome news and i bow down to Frieda for such a thoughtful act. I have a new found respect for her.
Thought i should share on mylot. Image from Frieda's instagram.

@creativedesigner _ A drop in the bucket when you consider the lifestyle of these celebrities. It is actually insulting.

Maybe.
But the fact that 800 hungry people were fed with quality food which would otherwise go into gutter is a good thing. Isn't it?
Maybe she was obliged to do this publicity. We never know.

@creativedesigner We will see next year when the Oscars come on. Hopefully they will continue that and make it a thing.

I think saying no food will be wasted is an exaggeration. How many plats of barely touched food were tossed out at the end of the evening.
It is nice to see that it wasn't all thrown away.

Hmm yeah.
We cannot control everything. She did whatever little she could.
Starting such initiative is a good thing. This could encourage the other celebrities to do it every year.

Yeah. Giving back to society is the best thing to do and she is doing exactly that.

That is a good thing to do. I hope it will be the same next year.

That is wonderful of her to think to do that. What is sad is that the Oscars has been on going on for many, many years. The people behind the Oscars should have thought about that a long time.
