A Poem Finally

It has been days or even weeks since a poem I wrote.
Always thinking of a catchy and meaningful quote.
But I have been busy lately you see.
So I wrote discussions shortly.
But I do love the interaction here really...
I made it a point to go back even just sparingly.
Tonight I feel a bit lucky.
I am writing a poem, finally!
How do you usually write your discussion here at myLot?
Do you use limericks, poems, or freestyle something like that?
How do you choose your topic each day?
Top of mind or is there any other way?
Do you say what you mean and mean what you say?
Or barely compile words to earn cents each day?
I am so glad that I have met a lot of people here...
Though far thru technology, you all seem near.
Now I am thinking how I should end this?
Maybe I will just blow each of you a kiss!

Thank you. I do visit myLot too before preparing for work in the morning. I sometimes get too caught up and lose track of time.

I think there are some who write poems here already. @jabouk is very good with her limericks. yes, we are all writers/poets waiting to be discovered.
