First time

Summer of 2015, my friends and I went mountain climbing for the first time.
We started before dawn, the darkest hour. I didn't know what to expect. Everywhere was pitch black to me. I hold on to my flashlight like it was the most precious thing in this world. I felt my whole body was trembling. I told myself.. I can do this!
For me the trail was like an obstacle course. Thrilling experience indeed. We were all dirty and exhausted but exhillirated.
We reached the summit and the view is breath taking. I'm blown away. It was the moment when you reflect and appreciate God's wonderful creation.
The photo above is the main attraction -- the monolith
What's your unforgettable first time experience?

@Bonappetin I don't like being in high places. They make me feel dizzy. Besides , my knees would get wobbly from nervousness.

Yes. That view is actually from the summit of the mountain.

That's the view from the summit. Hikers who opt for the challenge can also climb the monolith. I'm a bit scared

@Kandae11 yes. Keeping in touch with nature is also a good way to destress
