When we were kids one of our brothers had a novel way of getting his back scratched. He would offer his part of the snack whosoever offered to scratch his back. We found it to be a good deal. We would fight to scratch his back. That is history now. These days no one is interested in those snacks and so we have to fend for ourselves. Luckily there are back scratchers. How do you handle this rather desperate situation?

My husband and I work on each other. I bought him a back scratcher at the Polynesian Cultural Center in Hawaii. He some how lost it.

My guess is he prefers to have you scratch his back.

Please do not correct your typo.. If you can't make love without a back scratcher, so let it be

For some reason we must be like monkeys . . . our family likes to scratch each others' backs . . . the kids and Hubby love that. We do have a bamboo back scratcher like the one on the right. In the shower, I have a rough cloth I like to use on my back!

I like to sit behind my girlfriend, pick the lice out of her hair, and eat them.

I'd hardly call it a desparate situation, but I use a ruler if I can't reach it any other way.

@allknowing No that isn't what I mean to say, I find a way of dealing with it. It's just not what I would call a desperate situation

I use anything available at the time - even a ruler has been brought into service.

I can still reach around and scratch my back. I am master of my own domain.
