I cook, I eat, repeat

Since I quit my part-time job, I love having more time with my husband and the grands. We have a leisurely breakfast, enjoy our coffee and watch Fox News.
Then I start deciding what to cook for lunch/dinner. (We have our biggest meal around 3pm.)
After that meal, I start planning a light, late supper and maybe a dessert.
Seems I spend an awful lot of time cooking and eating. If I don't get out of this house and do something, I'm going to be as big as a cow.
And that is udderly unaceptable.

It seems once we get into the habit, it is hard to break!

@1creekgirl We love cooking, baking, creating new food ideas here. There is always something going on in the kitchen it seems! Glad everyone here cleans up after themselves.

I'm just not one who lives to do housework. I do enjoy cooking, hence all the eating.

When we quit smoking 17 years ago then quit our jobs and moved south we really got into more cooking and eating. When you don't work you have the time to make all the good stuff - and we started eating earlier and earlier. It doesn't matter if you get out of the house or not, you still find your way to the kitchen.

My husband and I agreed we'll have to get back into walking now that the weather is nicer. We usually walk down a little lane that runs behind our house to a pond. That will be nice now that my hip doesn't hurt as much.

@1creekgirl _I wish we have spring in the Philippines. It sounds like an idyllic spot for a walk and with the spring season you get to enjoy the blooms of flowers and plants.

I do like to cook. I tend to get creative (read: don't follow the recipe)....sometimes it turns out good, sometimes not.

Lol, that's was very punny. I hear you though. I work at home and it seems like, unless I have to be out or go out - I cook, I do dishes, I cook, I do dishes, I cook, I do dishes.....
