What are your favorite summer fruits?

One of the things that I look forward to in the summer (officially the dry season here) is the abundance of fruits. Here in the Philippines, the most colorful and succulent fruits come to the market during the dry season -- mangoes, dalandan (tropical orange), pineapples, starfruit, watermelon, etc. Although nearly all of these fruits are available year round, they are not as cheap as when they are sold during the summer season.
I'm excited to make plenty of fruit smoothies again!
Do you like summer fruits from where you are? Got any favorites?

My husband loves lychees, too. I've yet to develop a liking for those, but I can take lychee combined with another fruit juice.

Aha, another mango fan! :o) I like mango as well, but not much of watermelon. My daughter loves watermelon. She likes it fresh and as a shake.

Was talking about this earlier over breakfast with my colleagues.
My favorite summer fruits are actually those that we have a fruit tree back in the day at my grandparent's house. Those were atis, balimbing, kamias, mangoes, guava, and santol.

@almostoveryou Mangoes are good enough for me.
Although I wouldn't mind having peaches, too.

Yes, the succulent ones are the kind that you'd like to have during the summer. I wish I could have fresh peaches and berries but they don't grow from where I live.

Watermelon are among the juiciest, no doubt. Do you grow watermelons in Romania?
