Why People Get So Bitter After the Breakup?

When a person is in a relationship, everything is fine. It seems the world is so colorful. They don't mind others and keep safe in their own world. When the relationship turned sour, everything is all in bitter statements. The worst part is to curse each other. Breaking up with someone is really difficult. At the last minute, they still say ill words against each other. It was like they never had good moments to each other from the past.

It could be bitter if they didn't end on mutual terms?

@Shavkat It is hard if not both are on the same mutual terms. For the most part, all mine ended up all well and I say hi here & there to the person. But for instances, if one cheated - you can never have a heart to heart talk.

@infatuatedbby I know what you are pointing out, my friend. They can talk about it after a long of the period of time. It takes time for them to realize that the relationship ended. It depends on how each of them follows the stage of moving on. It would not be instantly done.

When people are hurt they tend to get upset.

It is normal to be upset. Sometimes they need to compose themselves.

When you're in the relationship, you're dreaming of "living happily ever after" and "working on your relationship like that faithful old car in the garage." When you break up, it's like you (or they, or both of you) totally dismantled that car, packed up all the parts & sent them to the lava-pit to be buried forever ... and all that time you spent 'building' the machine feels "wasted"

@Shavkat But you know it's only "wasted time" if it stops you from being here now!

In every relationship, they will always be in that situation. They will always utter what a waste of time.

When some one's heart is broken it is normal not to take it very well.

I hate to be around people that are breaking up. They act mean and say really mean things to each other.

It is the breakdown in communication that starts the war. When the words start to clash, it is too late to take back the things that has been given. It is always painful to lose one's identity to a person that has become a total stranger operating on a different and alien frequency.
