There is a proverb in Hindi which means "Neither Relations break by living far, nor they get fixed by living near. These are the strong threads of emotion which become stronger when remembered". I used to think the same before.
Now-a-days, we live far from our home for our jobs or professional commitments. In some cases the relationship starts in social media which is from the beginning a Long Distance relationship.
Do these type of relationships break easily than the ones where they live near?

Nope. As long as you work hard to have communication with the other person , distance is not a hindrance to have a strong relationship. Besides, technology is far advance now that few years ago. You can do skype or facetime with any one even they are on the other side of the planet earth.
