What is an Indian writing about a beach in Philippines you might say. Having read so many posts here by the Filipinos which do prove that Philippines have some of the breath taking views of the beaches. I got interested and did some search and came across this great beach photo. The question is whether this is the best beach. Is there any other?

@allknowing,I thought that Boracay,Aklan was supposed to be the best beach in Philippines.

@allknowing I actually haven't been to El Nido nor in Boracay. Though, Boracay has become like a public place because there are really lots of long stretches of beaches some expensive some affordable as most of my cousins have told me. But with El Nido, a friend told me that it's a secluded place , or island , as you can see in the picture. It is said that its a very private and serene place and so beautiful and there is a fish sanctuary there, where you can go snorkeling and diving too. Though of course , it is expensive to be there. Celebrities from here and abroad would go there for a vacation, where only those rich people who is also there for a vacation can see them. So for those that are into a private resort , it is El Nido that would be the best.

I was thinking it was surrounded by water and if so then there are probably beaches everywhere. This is a breathtaking photo you found though. Now we'll see if anyone from that country responds.

We have more than thousand beautiful beaches in the Philippines. El Nido, Palawan is in central Philippines (we are living in northern Philippines). Though the famous beaches are in Visayas and Mindanao like Boracay and Dakak, we also have famous Pagudpud beach in the north. But the most astonishing beaches are those not yet explored by tourists. They are just around the corner waiting for your attention. Just like this one in Sabangan, Santiago, Ilocos Sur.

That is amazing that you have over a thousand beaches. Is this beach that we see in the picture, close to you?

@allknowing Our country is composed more than 7,000 islands. Which means we also more than 7,000 beaches, he he. Yes, the beach is just 5 kilometers away from our house. You see that white thing at the top of the hill, that's a resort pattern to Santorini of Greece.
