What is your token of friendship?

I am sure some of you usually give a friendship token to your friends especially when traveling to different places. It could be in a form of souvenirs available. As for me, I used to buy the wooden keychains or key holders. It is made of indigenous people and serves as the souvenir from the Summer Capital of the Philippines. I am not sure where it started. But my late old man keeps on telling me to bring something if I am going to visit some friends or relatives. With this kind of token, friendship will be remembered if they will see it. I always buy something local, best if handcrafted, to give to my friends when I visit a new place.

I am sure your friends would be delighted for having handicraft tokens. My city is also popular with woodcraft items and the best token I can think of giving with others.

My token of friendship is definitely GOOD FOOD. Whenever i want to show some appreciation I share my favorite foods with them or take them out and buy them something at one of my favorite restaurants. Nothing puts a smile on my friend's faces better than a good warm meal.

If friends' places are near from my place, I can also bring some food. It is also a good gesture to share with friends.

@Shavkat Yeah .. I myself would prefer those things because they are practical and they don't collect dust because they get used..

It is also one of my concern. Small tokens would be convenient especially if I am going to visit some friends far from my city.

@JudyEv I totally agree with you. When I traveled to Tajikistan. I change big notes to smaller notes and gave to the local people in this country.

@Shavkat If you are travelling you always look for something small and light as there is often not much room left in your case for extras.

I think most of my fellowmen used to bring souvenirs from another country and distributed to the people close to their lives.

@optimisticbeauty I am sure you are not familiar with this country Tajikistan. I brought selfless memories of being a volunteer in Tajikistan.

It is, my friend. A good thing from provinces, some people would love to bring their usual crops to cities.

Candies are good as a friendship token or a hand band is not also a bad choice ..
