How to get you dog to stop jumping

I have a 8 month on puppy and we keep trying to teach her to stop jumping but she won't what can we do? Iv tried the dog correct spray, tried taking her to puppy training

My dog is 5 and still jumps up on people.It is a dogs way of loving people and they get excited to see the person.

My nephew's dog is little over a year old and he still jumps even though my nephew tried real hard to make him stop.
