Older homes look really nice.

I like the way that all these older homes look from the outside. They look so big from the outside. I wonder what they look like inside. Some are really nice and the yards are kept up. While others are run down and look like they are ready to fall down any minute.

Older homes seem to have character and not every one of them is exactly like the one next door. My mom lived in a house that her aunt was born in more than 100 years ago and we all loved that house so much.

When I was designing our home I wanted that sloping roof concept not with tiles but with marble chips and I did it.

Older homes many times can be quite interesting to look at. Often I wonder what type of people might have lived in them when they were first built especially the Victorian style. We have been in some of the different Craftsmen and it was interesting to see what they deemed of importance back then while building them.

Ours has very small closets, creaky floors, noisy plumbing and so lovely drafts.

@Lupita234 Larger closets would have been good but we will survive just fine in this old house.

I like older homes, as you know your home is different from others on the street. Many years ago I stayed in a bed and breakfast in the state that your posts say your from and it was so nice.
